The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reports an earthquake has occurred near Vanuatu at 8:16 a.m. on Jan. 15, 2019.
The earthquake had a reported magnitude of 6.8.

NOT EXPECTED AND THERE IS NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO HAWAII. REPEAT. A
